Pick categories you want to budget for, rent, groceries, going out. At each paycheck, decide how much to 'pocket' into each envelope. Spend until an envelope is empty, that category is paused until next paycheck.

Printed receipts: very accurate. Handwritten or faded receipts: less so, always confirm the parsed amount before saving. We always show you what we extracted so you can edit any field before committing.

We made that choice on purpose. Bank linking means giving up your credentials to a third party and getting tracked on every purchase. PocketPal stays manual + AI scan so you stay in control of what we see (which is nothing, unless you log it).

Yes, with Together. Open it from the Menu and start a space: one set of envelopes you both pay into and spend from, on its own cycle. Invite one person with a code. Your own envelopes, paycheck and streak stay private. Starting a space needs PocketPal+; joining one is free.

Nothing in your budget is lost. Envelopes and spending sync to your account, so sign in again with the same email and they're all back. Only what lives on the phone alone goes with the app, like your chat with Pal and anything logged offline that hasn't synced yet. Uninstalling doesn't cancel PocketPal+: cancel it in the App Store or Google Play.

Not yet. Streaks reset cleanly. We're considering a 'grace day' feature, tell us if you'd use it.

Open Settings → Your data → Export transactions (CSV). You'll get a file you can open in Sheets, Excel, or anywhere else. We support this for LGPD/GDPR/DPDP compliance and because it's the right thing to do.
